Crumpets and bagels need more cooking time on the top side than the bottom. So how do you prevent them from getting burnt underneath?

The crumpet setting applies full heat on the middle elements and mild heat on the outer elements. Simply face crumpets or bagels inwards and you get crispy, even results top and bottom. This 4 slice toaster also features extra wide self centreing slots to make sure all breads (and crumpets) cook evenly on both sides. It also has cancel and reheat settings and adjustable electronic browning control.

Extra Long Slots

Designed to fit two pieces of bread next to one another in a single, longer slot. As well as being more compact, this design accommodates more exotic loaf sizes like large sourdoughs or artisan breads.

Self Centreing

To ensure bread is evenly toasted on both sides, self centreing slots have spring loaded carriages to automatically centre the bread relative to the toasting elements.

Crumpet Setting

Crumpets and bagels need higher heat on the top than on the bottom. On Crumpet Setting the outside element switches to low heat to prevent burning. Simply face crumpets inwards.
